Well then.. Seats are in now.. havnt taken any pics.. sorry.
But i did discover something interesting today :tonka:
I was noticing a clunking noise when i loaded it back on the trailer a week or so ago... and today i found out why.. One of the big thick steel brackets for lift kit that lowers the diff has decided to break :tonka: so tomarow out comes some scrap metal and the welder to try and have it ready to wheel thurs..

OK so i pulled the broken mount welded it back together and added some beef
Here's the mount you can see where i welded it back together..

Added some beef

This is where it goes.. It's a drop bracket for the front differential part of the IFS lift..

And last but not least got my new seats all mounted up the other day

Tube bed is a good way to go. No sheetmetal to worry about. Get a coupon and you can get a pipe bender for about $60 which will do what you need.

Best thing I did to my truck....

I am in no hurry, I have lots to do to the flatty yet, they are hard to find used, and for a vehicle that rarely gets driven I cannot justify new ones

So its time for update..
Swapped my shifter.. this model wasnt made for a cable operation and i adapted it.. but the adaptation isnt working all that well

And i picked up some Dana 44's from XJtoivo on Monday
Plans have changed (for now)
Gona move the front axle forward about 3" maybe 4" enlarge and move the center of wheel wells forward as well Remove the bed still and make a tube bed..
Using YJ leaves May add an extra main leaf, gonna see how the truck sits on them 1st
Anywho waiting til i get my gears, lockers and brake parts before i start the SAS so i can still roll the truck around if needed..
Started clearing the engine bay so i can move the inner fenders up and cleared out all in front and stuff.. Then Started cutting the Drivers fender

Predicted Fender Opening

And what ive come up so far in cutting

the hardest part is retaining the inner fenders and woring around stuff in the engine bay there's a shit ton of wiring and im not 100% of what i really need and dont need without busting out schematics.. plus tons of vacuum lines for stuff..

Does anyone need some S-10 parts ?

Quick update
Got the inner fender all in place gota get some sheet metal and fill in the gaps..

Notice the difference

And i'm predicting this is where the WB is gona be set in the front.. about 4" forward of stock the rear will also be moved up and frame shortened even more.. with a total WB of 105"

On a side note i hate working at home in the driveway after being at work all day with my box full of nice tools !
