Default "The BAddest S-10 Ever" 89' S-10 build up

1989' S-10 4" lift 34"x9.5 TSL's Stock Drive train. Some other redneck stuff
Bought it off BIG AL
For now plans are to
  • Find a set of seats and add a roll bar interior so i can run my 5 point harness's
  • Make a setr of Custom Box Bumpers with D ring's
  • Thats about it for now. besides MAYBE clearance the fenders to eliminate tire rub.
  • Oh yea and wheel it !

Future plans are 1 tons 37-40's
Full Cage (engine cage, interior cage, Tube Flat Bed)
Winch

Very far future plans include
383 Stroker
NV4500 ( changed my mind decided to stick with an auto, either going Th350 or 700R4)
Dana 300
4 links with coils and PORC shocks

Thats all pending wether the body lasts that long.

Body is in good shape drivers side front corner of cab has some bad rot but other than that and the bed its solid with no bondo !

Finally got the pic to work !

Decided the bed overhang was a little long for my liking.. so i guess they call this bobbing ??
Cut The bedliner back, yes i realize that "rollbar"' is rusted all to shit.. im ust to lazy to take it out.

Started Making my cuts in the bedsides.. im taking 12" out

Burned up a damn grinding wheel in just those two cuts

And BAM the bedside has been cut out..

You need to get cut off wheels, instead of grinding wheels. They will last longer.

Looks like a cool project.

Very nice. Can I have the extra panel pieces that you cut off of the bed, please. I need to make filler panels out of them for my s-10 to shave everything.

Thanks
Dean

your a quick one

thats because a grinding wheel is for "grinding" your would need a Cut off wheel you can find these by asking the guy at the store for a "cut" off wheel. those work good for cutting
:miff: :miff:

next time your find yourself attempting something read your back window sticker.

HAHA that made my day
