Saw a bug sitting on a least 44 inch tires at a mud bog this weekend.
Didn't see him run though. They look fun!

helped him out a little bit on it today.. got the steering column mounted it sticks way out cause the firewall is soo close to the dash.. oh well he's happy with it. he said he wanted a floor shifter so I whiped something up

also got the master mounted and used a Jeep CJ brake pedal with an older chevy manual brakes MC. had to shorten the push rod about 2" to make the 2 happy together but it works.. again the brake pedal is WAY far back. and the gas pedal will be right on the firewall. its his project not mine so I just help him out where i can.

I had told dad a while ago I'd do the wiring for him ( he's not wiring or technical savvy at all, and since ive been doing instrumentation at ROush my wiring has gone through the roof) So I finally got all my projects wrapped out.. rearranged the garage and made some room and had him bring it down.. I've been working on straightening some stuff out and getting stuff mounted and set up almost ready to throw the blazer harness back in it and start working on hooking stuff up. Here's an current pic.

and one of the int. with the guages my fiance and i got him for Fathers day.

along with a set of switches at the bottom for head lights and the amber rotary on the roof. Pyrowaves is gonna come over some day and work his engineering wonders on that shifter i made a while back..

SO here's a small update on this thing.. 95% of the wiring is done.. All the lights are working.. Engine cranks. Had a fun time figuring out why t5he fuel pump wasnt kicking on found a harness under the hood turns out its for the fuel pump relays.. borrowed the ones from the s10 and it kicked on no problem. Gotta fix a kinked fuel line.. bolt up some stuff underneath. finishing plumbing and mounting the trans cooler. Finish fixing leaks in my Dad's cooling lines.. and toss in some coolant.. and it should be ready to fire for the 1st time in about 6 yrs
