Default Dad's Mud Bug

This is my dads Little project ive been helping him with..
1966 VW beetle Body
1988 S-10 Blazer Chassis and Drivetrain.

We finally got the body set on the chassis and now we need to start cutting some parts of the frame and get the body down lower.. when its all said and done it should sit down with the rocker line Right on the frame rail. the tires its sitting on now are 30"

Here's some misc pictures from the build..

His intentions are to use it as a push truck at the sprint car races and not really offroad it..

Little does he know i have other plans for it :evillaugh:

And I forgot to mention we shortened the frame 6" to match the wheelbases

Maybe ill slap a Gl 4x4 Sticker on it tomarow and shoot a few more pics

There are a lot of them out there, but I really don't like how the frame hang so low in the middle.

Yep, drop the body down on the frame so you cant see it put a little lift on it to fit some 33 or 35's and it would look sweet. Oh yea and put a V8 in it!

Wow! It seems me and your dad think a lot alike, haha. I started a project with a Beetle too, but its going to be a little hotrod instead of a 4x4.
