Default Emergency Help

Need to find out how to get the rear calipers off a 05 F350, can't get the calipers off to change the pads in the rear.

i usually pull the bolts out and use a BFH

yeah i just ran outside to look and it's an '07 but it should be the same. there's just two bolts look like 3/4 in maybe a size or two smaller

Got it apart. Evidentally you need a really skinny wrench ot hold the pin and then remove the caliper bolts.

atleast ford gives you a damn bolt to use a wrench on - the chevy's use f'n torx bits, and they're usually on so damn tight they break them (broken numerous snap on ones doing them too)......but yes, you need to hold the slide pin as well....many FWD cars are set up like that
