Default Turtle Ridge Challenge: ALL FILLED

Things are happening with the Turtle Ridge Rock Challenge. For those of you who wished you could have taken part in the competition.........well here is your chance!!

There are 3-4 openings that we are looking at filling. Your rig must meet the following criteria:
  1. Locked at least on one end
  2. running tires between 36" - 40"
  3. cage for open cockpits or a full steel top
  4. rig must have seatbelts/harness
  5. onboard fire extinguisher
  6. Drive and spotter must have DOT approved brain bucket protection

This will be on a first come first serve basis. To recieve an application/registration you may contact Clint Carter via email at bccrtr@gmail.com. There is a $60 entry fee for competitors($70 if bringing a spotter) and will include a competition shirt. This will be the only way you can register for these spots to be filled.

Good luck to anyone showing interest.

Man I want to do this. Would have to find a way to get the Scrambler back to Cleveland if I break it though.

HJ, if we can get a few more buggies together, we can probably get an unlimitd buggy class....

The mud in the lower half can be quite deep, depending on the weather leading up to the competition. Last year we ran one of the trails we are going to use and broke 2 trucks, a few couldn't make it through, and I watched numerous 37"+ tall tires disappear. Is that enough for you guys? :-)

as of right now there are no buggy class for this event.
i had mentioned to one misfit something about buggies but nothing ever came from it.
for now there will only be one class maybe next year we might add one on if enough people are interested.

Talking

:redx: The Williamsburg Welfare Wheelers will be at the blessing of the jeeps with a booth. If anyone has any questions that they want to ask in person about the Turtle Ridge Rock Challenge (TrrC) that would be the time.
The competition is closed to any new competitors unless someone drops out before the competition.

Wish I would have seen this earlier.... I am sure my buddy with a lifted Hummer would have loved to join.... hes doing the extreme Hummer challenge in MO next month.... his truck is a '93 Pick-up H1 with a 24v Cummins TD locked front and rear, 6inch lift 42" tires.... probably 24+ inches ground clearance at the diff...... control arms are probably 17" or so.....
