Default homemade bumper test

I made my own bumper a little while back and recently got a chance to see if it was strong enough. I had a tractor pull me out almost straight to the side of the bumper...the strap broke before the bumper tweaked at all.

i'll get more pics of the bumper. There was a bridge behind me, and yes I was quite worried about the tractor driver getting hit with the strap but he didn't seem to be too concerned. I've got a winch sitting on that bumper now though.

cool what kind of steel did you use to build the bumper??? All of the bumpers i built are not under 1/4 steel.
