Default Steering column fix????????

Well I finally isolated a noise issue coming from my YJ.........

Have anyone of you guys done this kind of fix?

The portion that is repairable are these pieces

I currently have a good 1/4" slop at the lower portion of my column. Seems to be getting worse too

Pretty common actually :)

Hardest part is usually seperating the column from the steering shaft.

Is this a worthwhile fix or will other areas within the column fail soon after?

Yea, I have to do mine too. Gotta pull everything out. Not looking forward to it. Mine makes a crazy rattle going over bumps.
