Default G.M. oil cooler

93 van 5.7 litter

radiator went bad oil cooler lines broke off in tank

can this be by passed at all ? or am I stuck replacing the lines

I admit I have not been able to research the getting new lines because parts stores are closed right now. It just looks like one of those pain in the butt parts to get ,or find in a yard.

It seems like you could get a adapter to delete the cooler line housing ,but GM put a oil cooler on for a reason ?

Thanks Jeff

the oil cooler is only part of the towing package, delete it and move on.

by the way the adaptor is the oil filter bypass valve so when you look it up you get the right thing.

if your doing any towing don't max out the vehicles capacity. it should handle most anything you tow but why take chances
