Trying to locate someone

Say I have their Social Security Number and Name and past address telephone etc... is there a place I can find their CURRENT addy without paying 50 bux to an online service...

The guy has moved around a bit and we are trying to locate him to serve him with court papers. I found 7 different addresses online, but I was told he has moved from them to possibly an Atlanta address...

If you are friends with any local PD (to bad if you're one of the board that hates all cops), they might be able to run it thru their system. Or, since you might have a lawyer working for your (court papers), they have a system to run the info on that is the same as the PD's have.

Other than that, try www.intelius.com (you might have to pay a bit of money)

Good luck.

Yeah I was trying to avoid the Intelius route as it is not for me, so i don't want to pay, but I gave her the web addy and told her for 50 bux she may want to try it after all this time. I have a few contacts though where I work... one of which is in the Atlanta area and he is checking into it as well for me through databases he can access... Our receptionist has been trying to locate her *husband* for some time to serve the divorce papers (since 1996) and she recently found he moved to Georgia, I have him pinned to 2 towns, as I am showing His name in Atlanta and another town. but NONE of the free services are giving the atlanta addy... just the pay ones.

This guy moves around a ton and has been using the same telephone number for 10 years, and he hasnt lived there in 10 years.

I have a program that would do it, but I would get busted for doing outside work.

If that phone number he uses is still active, then someone there knows him. That is where the art of phone gags come in. All you gotta do is pretend to be soemone you are not, offer what he wants (lost item, random refund check or rebate), and they will give up his new address.

If he is not traceable publically, then he is shacking up with someone who has everything in there name. Probably a girlfriend or close relative.

If she has been trying to serve him for that long... isnt there some sort of abandonment law provision for this?

i have no idea, she couldnt afford a lawyer so she has been trying to do as much as she could on her own, today though my boss told her she could use the company lawyer for questions of that sort. She was really stressed today as she found he was in michigan and avoided her knowing she had the papers, so she asked me if there was any way to find him other then hiring a PI

The lawyer she did consult however told her minimum 3k and if he contests it it could be hundreds of thousands... sounded steep to me but i have never gotten a divorce

hundreds of thousands for a contested divorce? I would have laughed out loud in said attorney's face.

altho, i'm surprised that nobody suggested getting a joint credit account (afterall they are married) and using that account to pay for the lawyer, PI, etc...

I know you said she didn't want to use an online 'pay' company. But I did have to go that route once.
All I had was a cell number. Within ten days I had EVERYTHING on said person. And I mean everything. SS #, address, phone bill, tax records, bank accounts.
I didn't even have a last name when I started.

Did you steal the phone number off her phone at a bar?
