Default loading a jeep on backwards

well I need to load my jeep on a trailer, any problem with loading it on backwards?

the vehicle is dead, there will be no one around to help me push start it or push it.

I guess I could always just go to a open parking lot and redo it then if it will be a issue but I already have to winch it up with a come along which will be a bitch

I really only have to go 50 miles like this.

thanks for the help,

Ty

I do not think there would be any problem with that other than weight distribution. If the trailer is long enough, you might want to put the front of the Jeep more overtop of the trailer axles. Other than that you will be fine. Have fun with the come along.

I am not looking forward to using a come along to get it up on the trailer

X2. I just towed a M715 loaded on my trailer backwards from PA to home with no issues.

Only problem I could see happening is that if the top was off it might blow the windshield out..

scoff at me if you must but hauling a friends pos vehicle up to Grand Rapids one time backwards on the trailer it blew his windshield out.. most likely was because it was a pos vw kitcar.. but still happened and still something I would be worried about..

I was thinking of getting a 50 dollar HF electric winch. its 2000lbs so I would need to run a snatch block but It would not be a bad solution.
