Default Can't stay logged in? Heres how you do it.

If you are being logged out, try using the upper right hand side log in box, and check "REMEMBER ME". Make sure cookies are enabled, and it will keep you logged in.

Step by step:

If you are being logged out, While you are logged out:

1. click this link: http://greatlakes4x4.com/
2. In the upper right hand corner enter your UN and password.
3. MAKE SURE TO CLICK REMEMBER ME.
4. Login
5. You should now always be logged in.

These are not very detailed? You should start with "get the mouse" and you are assuming everyone here knows UN = User Name.
That is a big assumption

Was there something on the site's end that logged everyone out? All 3 of my computers had to re-login this weekend, for the first time in months.

Just curious.

I just looked through some logs. Monkeyevil upgraded this site to the newest version of vbulletin. This is probably what caused this

New VB has some new cookie security stuff I think. That is why you have to re-login the first time.

If you still have issues clear your cookies/browser cache. If you don't want to clear all your cookies you will have to delete the greatlakes4x4 one manually.

For those with Firefox on XP...

1. Close Firefox.
2. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\"XP Username"\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\"Mozilla Profile Folder"\cookies.txt
3. Manually delete the www.greatlakes4x4.com entries.
4. Save file, reload Firefox.
5. Rel login to GL

Maybe someone who uses IE can find the GL cookie file name and post it's location here.
