Default Welding Advise (help Hagar)

Would this welder work for welding nuts onto broken bolts.

i need to remove 2 bolts on the rear bumper and 6 on the floor of my yj roll cage.

I would think so, the little welder marv had did a really good job holding that coupling in my front axle in place, and it was truely tested. It looks simular in size, but marv would know better.

Yeah, ought to work for that.

Thats pretty small, not a ton else you can do with it.


I'm not too up on stick welding. Thats probably similar to the little one grandman had.

That will work but you can by decent small Mig welders made my miller or Lincoln for like 350 dollars. Plus you can by tanks and other upgrades to make your work be and look better. I picked one up and it does more then enough for smaller jobs. But if you need some heavy load non specific or detailed work an Arc will be just fine.
