Default Electronic brakes on '95 Tahoe

Going to install electronic brake controller on a '95 Tahoe. Does anyone know if it has the setup already under the dashboard to hook into? Has a 4 wire plug on the back already for a trailer, just need to redo it to a 7 wire with brakes.

It kinda has the setup, but not totally (like the 2000 and up has). Tied to frame above the rear bumper you should find the wires (the big blue one is for the trailer brakes) to wire into the 7 pin trailer connector. Then underhood by the master cylinder you'll find the other end of the blue wire taped to the harness that you can run through the firewall and hook up to the output of your trailer brake controller. Then tap into the brake light feed under the dash (I think it's a white wire), power, and ground, and you should be set.

you don't need to cut into wires if you get the dealer install kit. its a plug that goes to the fuse block under the dash to direct wire the controler. the other thing is IF you have the big red wire & Blue wires bundled under the hood. the red wire goes to the fuse block if its not already attached. and then you have to add a 40 amp fuse to the blue wires circut under the hood or dash.
