Default 98 dodge lift kit

i have a 98 ram 1500 like to lift it 5 in. what do you run and do you like or dislike the kit. i am not a rock crawler so it dont have to be a $3000 kit. just playing in the sand and 2 tracking. Plus some mud from time to time. if you have some pics lets see them

I'd slap on some 3/4 ton springs (2 or 4 inch lift springs for a 1/2 ton can't remember which)
I think you can clear 35s on 1500s with 3/4 springs....not sure though
Would be a nice budget lift for a guy with a lil' doh.

Probably do a shackle flip out back to compensate for the front.

Good luck!
I'm planning on doing my cummins 10 inches with Dick Cepek long arms and custom coils. I'm poor though.

is this a 1/2 ton. if it is what did you have to beef up to run 38s and what gear are you running?

i think the 3/4 ton springs are good for 4 inches, thats what brandon has on his, and he clears his new 35" boggers. i dont know what he did in the rear. stock 3/4 ton springs can be had fairly cheap, i think i may even have some around...

right now i have a 3' leveling kit up front and had the back springs rearched and added a leaf.+ a 3' body. clear 35s . but like it to be bigger. like to run 35x14.5 tires.

Here's mine with the winter tires (35") still on, usually run 38.5 boggers. 7" long arm skyjacker kit, 3" body and debating on putting the 2" coil spacers back on.
