With much figuring out since MySpace doesn't allow JavaScript on their pages, I finally was able to get the GL4x4 RSS Feed up on our MySpace page to see the most recently discussed articles on GL4x4

the page looks awesome. I just have to do some small changes to let people know that the forum is here, and its not just a myspace group!

Sounds good. If you have any ideas that I can help with this let me know. I wish there was some way to better embed the forum into the page than just the RSS feed.

i wish the page was dynamic enough to view narrower than 1024. I run 1680x960 on my screen, but I don't max my window that big and the page just looks stupid if you dont.

What does it look like if you view it narrower? Can you take a screenshot of it?

Yeah the problem is I got pictures and slideshows in the left column which are 400px wide and the title for each little section in the left hand column is 100px wide. The frappr in the right column is 450px wide that doesn't include the spacing between the two columns. Would it be better to make one of the columns thinner so it can be viewed smaller? And then just have the main column *right column* just extend much longer?

My thought is, put the frappr on the left top and move the stuff on the left down to the music player to the right column and narrow the right column to fit. I would put the rss on the right narrower, but leave the icebreaker pic and the little player thing on the left the same size as the frappr and then the comments below on the left. Can you make the friends column 2 pics wide and leave it on the right at the bottom?

There are certain things you can't move around on myspace unless you are a god at CSS...which i am not Basically sections can't really be moved around to an extent. Here is what I'm trying out right now, one large column? What do you think?

Yeah. You can only view half the page. Unfortunately, you aren't going to be able to please everybody with the layout because a lot of people view webpages with different resolutions. Good luck finding a happy medium.

define normal. Are you a dork that views it at 1600x1200 on a 22inch flat panel with the browser window max? You're an ass if so
