Question Anyone near Dixie Hwy and 75 area??

I looked at a Boat yesterday, it has been sitting for 10 years. I'm just going to replace the wheels and tires and probably bearings before I attempt to move it.

I don't have a spare 2 hours just to run up there and back.

If anyone lives in that area (Deer Lake) could do me a favor and swing by to note the tire sizes for me I would greatly appreciate it. Let me know and I'll get you an addess.

thanks

Paul

there are only a couple of hubs that they use on trailers. (well, the small ones anyway) Either 4 lug or 5 lug. If it's a real small boat it would be a 4 lug. If it is a car sized tire, it is probably a 5 lug.

very over grown Sunfish!
Actually the guy has a sunfish and a DN ice boat inthe garage.

This is a Chrysler Buccaneer 18'

It's solid, and the sails are still somewhat crisp.
Just needs some elbow grease to look more like this.

I'll send you a bill.

I checked her air pressure in her tires.
I helped her move stuff around the garage
wd-40'd the latch on her transport
helped her hang a bird feeder
LOOKED at photos of her sailing in the boat you are buying.
LOOKED through a photo album of pictures of other boats, and the stories behind each picture. Where all the stories started out as "I think this is" then followed by random names that I haven't the slightest clue who they are.
repeatedly turned down the offers for ME to take the boat.
turned down offers for free flotation noodles.
and finally helped her decide where she could put her canoe and her row boat. (I told her you would help her move them :tonka:)

And you KNEW this would happen, and you knew I had to knock on the door to ask her where the boat was. :miff:

Oh yeah, she says you can havd the ice boat too.

all in all, a very interesting trip.

Like I said, I didn't have two hours to run up there and check. It's only a 25 minute drive for me!!!

You probably don't even want the boat, but you wanted someone else to experience being at that house.
