Default What set ups are you guys running?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what all of your guys are running. My old truck was a 85, 4in allpro lift, locked 5.29s, duals, longs, in cab cage.

Starting to collect parts for my new truck. The plan so for is longs, locked 4.10, duals but i really want to run a triple case setup just for the cool factor. I'm going to 3 link the front and 4 link the rear with fox air socks. I think once i get it all done it should be another point and go truck.

Post them up.

Right now I am running an 85' 4runner with 5 inch springs 5:71 gears with an aussie locker in the rear on 35" mud tracs.

But I am looking at changing out the rear springs because they are stock lenght 5" lift springs that ride and flex like a rock.

36" cut SXs, duals, 4.88s, rears up front/chevys out back/rear spool, front locker.

Bored with full bodied (heavy) yotas, I'll put the drivetrain into my Jeep and lose 1000 lbs.

Right now I have a stock 85 4runner w/31's a stock 89 p'up w/31's. I also have an 894runner with Rancho long travel suspension and 32's. I just bought an 88 extra cab that is stock drivetrain glass prerunner body parts. I am going to pull the motor out of the remains of my 87 and drop it in the 88.
I am gathering parts for the 85 4runner. I will be using the rear axle from the 87 w/4.56 gears and am considering chopping a foot or so from the body behind the rear wheels. I may steel the rancho suspension from the 89 and use it in the 88 extra cab before I sell the 89 runner. It needs a slight frame pull so I can get the fenders mounted right.

I bought a mostly built up '85 truck. It has 5.29s and 35s with waggy springs up front and 63" Chevys out back. My plans are to add the dual cases I have in the garage, EFI and swap on an Xcab body. I'm going to lose the bed and add more tube.

I'm not sure if I want to keep leafs or go to links and air shocks. Frotn will get locked once I get longs up there.

'85 4-runner with saggy 3" AllPro buggy springs, 38.5"x11" Boggers on IFS alloys with staun beadlocks, dual cases w/4.7, spool and detroit, 30 spline longs, the usual stuff. I want to put a 14bSF out back, a diamond up front and swing a lexus V8 under the hood this summer, and step up to 42's. We'll see how much, if any of it happens though.

Stock, I have a 1980 body/axles/trans(4spd) with a 1983 22R. 4.38gears and an L52 on my floor for when the L43 goes to hell. My only immediate plan is to get it running enough to drive it's own ass to New York. After that I plan to lock the rear and cut the shit out of the fenders so I can fit 33's.

Future plans include a 4.3, turbo tranny, built axles, in a scout 80 shell.
