Default Nextel ic502 Phone

This is one of the newest phones from nextel that uses the Direct Connect from Nextel and the service for regular calls from Sprint. They call it a Hybrid phone. I will put pictures up tonight. I paid $250 for it on a business account (public cant get it yet) Will sell for $125.

Sprint phone and internet.
Nextel 2-way.

You can't just pop your sim in and use it. Different system.

it is tryue that you cant just stick your sim in it, but i was told (by the nextel dealer) that if you call nextel they can put you on that service now. Apparently everyone is supposed to be moved to the powersource system (which is compatiable with all nextel, sprint and hybrid phones) by the end of the year. That's what i was told, but i dont wanna screw anyone, so i would check it, i will call to in the morning to check and see how that works.

Yeah, the advertised pricing is with 2 year contracts. I tried buying a phone a month ago from a nextel store, and without the contract it was close to 400 bucks.

yes $250 for just the phone. and the public can buy these. I have these phones and I like them. The nextel two-way is just as messed-up as the regular nextels. The phone service is good though.

You are all right I have went in depth with the nextel people about these phones and its the sprint service with the excellent internet which you can check your gl4x4 with and nextel two way, and your all right about the prices, and if your on a family plan or with a business theres a catch if you have one hybrid phone on your plan they all have to be hybrids which totally sucks for me cause my 2 years is up and i get a free upgrade and the rest of my family got new phones last summer. have fun guys. for a little more info pm me.
