But seriously, you'll have to take a bunch of crap apart just to do the gasket and that may not be all that's wrong after you put it all back together.

ya thats what i was thinking... though my piggy bank prety empty so who cost is also a big factor.... well is the engin still available may take trans to at right price make me really happy n throw the axels in....hehe

This thread is for a motor. I have no idea what axles you are talking about. I never said anything about any axles being for sale here.

i was kidding about the axels. i am verry interested in the motor if it is still available. would strongly consider the trans too as a package deal, as well as any other parts to go with the engin like the radiator etc. PM or post or call me at 734 507 1657 name is brian. thankyou and i am quite serious about the motor.

im ready to buy. just got the money together. is the header gone??? i really wanted the header both for the performance and so i wouldnt have to replace the gasket and take off the manifold and all that... i pmd you my phone # so call me either way.

Yes, but it cannot be run in place anymore.

No trans-related parts are included. The price gets you to the end of the crank. That means the flexplate goes with the trans, too.
