Paging Waggy/Grand Waggy FSJ guys...

I just bought the '82 Wagoneer below over my lunch hour. It's originally from S. Dakota, and is VERY clean. The only notable rust is rust-through behind both wheelwells at the bottom, but that's it. Rockers are great (including in the door openings), floorpans have barely any surface rust underneath (90+% black paint on underside), etc. I bought it for the rolling frame, and will be selling the body either here or on ifsja.org. If anyone's interested in replacing their crusty Waggy/GW body, this one would be a great candidate.

It's being delivered to my place tomorrow (Tuesday). I'll post an ad in the Marketplace once I have determined pricing. In the meantime, PM me if you're interested in anything but the frame/springs/axles.

BTW, it has a 360 V-8/727 auto/NP-229. Motor turns over, but won't fire, and also leaks oil. The vehicle has 111K miles on it.

Ironically, I just posted this Wanted thread on cj-8.com this morning, when itselliott PM'd me with a heads-up on the '83 Waggy.

The exterior wood trim has already been removed by the previous owner, and the dash has been mostly pulled. Other than that (and some misc. trim pieces), it's mostly all there.

The previous owner/shop already started parting it out. I'm just going to finish the job.

It'll save someone else's rusty rig, though. BTW, I just PM'd you back.

What color is the interior? Can't really tell. I am assuming it is the "sand" color or maybe the "spice"?

It's tan leather (see photo); I don't know what teh official color is called. The front seats are a little dirty, but would clean up nicely. The rear is very nice. I didn't see tears in any of them, BTW. The seats have been removed since the photo was taken, but they are included with the vehicle, and I did look at them in-person.

I'll be in touch. My 82 has that same interior, so I might need some stuff.

Will do. Door panels were pulled, too, so the seats are the extent of the available upholstered interior.

PMs replied to (regarding the motor, and motor/trans combos, respectively).

Thanks,
