Default All Pro Automotive in Lansing

Just wanted to give Ken and Eric some kudo's for putting my '98 5.9 Limited ZJ back together. I pulled the motor back in the fall of 2003 or 2004 with the intention of building a 408 stroker or a nasty 360. Well, time and money never happened at the same time. Add in selling a house, moving, losing a job, getting married, getting another job, selling a house, buying a Scrambler, building a Rubi, buying a Waggy, 7 dogs, a now 7-year old, and it just sat by the barn.

It was a basket case to say the least. Ken and Eric did one hell of a job getting the motor in, freshening up my hi-performance tranny, and basically rebuilding it to an almost new ZJ. Eric kicks ass putting stuff like this together. So, after 5+ years, I have my pride and joy running and back on the street. Damn I missed the sound of the 360 running through headers into a full 3" exhaust! It is actually nicer now than when I bought it...

Been waiting for this to happen..................Looks good, Very nice work guys. Ken told me he was gonna kick you in the butt and get that thing going the last time I saw him.

I love mine! Oh, and I agree, the 360 is sweet sounding.

It is pretty cool. I don't have the agressive cam that it originally had. Even with the 360, Mopar performance computer, air intake, bored/ported/polished 52mm throttle body, headers, and 3" free flow exhaust, I can run 87 octane with no issues at all. I haven't been able to check fuel mileage yet, but it seems to be better than it was before the motor was pulled. The only issue is that it is very difficult to drive 55mph. You are literally just barely over idle to run 55. It really smooths out around 80. Now to find some decent speakers to replace the stock Infinities that dry rotted...

I have this problem too.................

I'm still running 97 octane, but we don't drive it much so we don't really expierience the extra cost.

I wonder how close are vehicles are by VIN number? Maybe in a year or two, I'll let you buy mine from me so you can have His and Hers.
