Default Gr. Cherokee elect. system ?

Ok every time I've asked you all I've got a good answer and it solved my delima so here's another one.

Jeep : 1998 Gr cherokee

Several times in the past few weeks I've got in and turned the ingnition and all the dash lights flash , I think every light flashes and it will not start.

I'm thinking it's the security system (stock from Factory) I do not have the alarm model but I have the flashing light on the top of the dash and when I lock the doors with the remote the horn toots.

I'm not sure if someone has tampered with the jeep while it was in the parking lot but the last time I had to keep playing with the ingnition . My wife said she turned on the head lights manually (this has auto on ) and she thinks that stops it but it did not work for me .

I'm not sure if it timed out or my messing with the key make it start working correctly.

Anyone have a clue ? ......

Just a guess but have you tried locking/unlocking the door manually? (using the key).

No but that's a good Idea , I'll try it next time the jeep freaks out.
