GPS Tracks - Garmin

Anyone have any good tracks from around the Michigan area that they would be willing to send me? I have some from the Grayling area but would love to have some more from different areas that I haven't been to... beats having to try and turn a boat around on a trail.... I would be happy to send out my grayling tracks....

I have a Garmin 2610 so hopefully your tracks would be compatible...

I just have tracks from our dirt road adventure Sat. from around Rose City. Nothing great.

I think all the Garmin stuff would be compatable. I DL'd that GeoBuddy someone on here recommended. It worked great! I just found some waypoints to mark on the maps and sent them to the GPS. Only one we didn't find was on private property. When I got home, I uploaded the info to GeoBuddy and I could see where all I went. I can only get the waypoints to upload to Google Earth.

I have a basic eTrex. I am looking at Garmins with more mapping capabilities already.

fill me in on this geobuddy thing never heard of it before...

I am very pleased with my Garmin 2610... its got a decent sized screen, no hard drive (always worried about the harddrive and off-roading not being compatible). The color touch screen I think is great....

I am just looking for a change of pace in northern Michigan. I have been to MANY places around grayling but would love to see other areas such as Gaylord / Wolverine / Alpena / west branch etc... just getting tracks from others is easier then trying to find trails on my own and potentially get in tight situations...

Feel free to send me any tracks... If you want to see where I have been in grayling let me know and I can send those to you (just e-mail me)

Thanks!

You can find it here:

http://www.geobuddy.com/

Its a trial software. I think the geocachers use it mostly but I found it to work for what I wanted. There are some holes in its maps but you can find the whole maps here:

www.topozone.com/

I will email you what I have in the AM.

Oh yea. You can send to NOHVCC for a free DVD about mapping and GPS'. I got mine in the mail Fri. but haven't had a chance to ccheck it out yet.
