HP60 Hi Steer

Thanks again for the advice on getting the spindles out.

Following the BOM what I have is a 94 F350 ball joint axle.

Did some searching for Hi Steer info but everything seemed to point to king pin axles.

Anyone have any links or other info on converting to Hi Steer on a BJ D60 ?

Thanks again

The ball joint high steer stuff is still kinda pricey. I know dynatrac has knuckles and there is one other company too. I think you have to buy new knuckles. I think KOZ might have some proto type stuff but not sure. I am just gonna have the knuckle reamed to do a tie rod flip, with the height of the orignal arms and flipping it puts it pretty close to the height of high steer.

Call down to the Badlands Machine Shop and talk with them. I think I've seen a buggy that they built with balljoint D60s and high steer.

Some of the d60 knuckles can be milled and drilled for 44 high steer arms. Don't know much about applications.

Dynatrax sells BJ knuckles that accept highsteer arms. We just got a catalog from SOLID the other day, and they have keyed knuckles and arms as well.

As you are finding out, nothing is cheap for a d60 steer axle.
