What engine do you have? TBI or carb. I personally like the sound and performance out of a single 3" on a TBI motor. And imo it sounds alot better. I'm not a big fan of the choppy true dual sound though. I have that single 3" on my TBI 305 truck, and my girlfriend's 350 Z71.

you can still go with true duals and put a h pipe on it but some ppl think it souds like shit but it depend on your own likeing

just a side note if you go with trues don't go much bigger then 2 1/2" to help keep the scavenging of the gasses up

I would get a whistle tip. Sol Goode had one on his Yukon it sound and performed great.

i think true duals sound great with the chevy 350 motor. It just depends on how much time and money you want to spend. I have the single in dual out on my ford; it was easy to install and cheap. The sound quality isnt the best and id like to get a different set up once i get some spare cash

what do you want? Performance or sound??

Be cool like everyone, run true duals with 3" pipe all the way - because that motor definitely needs that

true duals, 3" pipe and glass packs Friend has it on his Monticarlo, Sounds great, and LOUD his 350 is punched over 60 and when your behind him and he steps on it your whole dashboard shakes, gets a lot of up for the exhaust.

I have 2.5 in to a single 3.5 and I really like the sound . Its not real loud though above 3000 rpms. I think it kinda chokes the motor out, or used to with the old cam. Duals will cost you more, with running 2 pipes. Do what you feel is right.

ok ive had like 4 or 5 different exaushts on my s-10 it took me that long to find the setup that sounded good. if you plan on running single in dual out. you have to go bigger to smaller. such as 3" in - 2 1/2" out. by running single in dual out, your allowing a lot more to escape the muffler then what goes in. gasoline motors use backpressure from the exhaust to help run efficiently. if you want to run true duals i would go with 2.5" all the way back. and one last thing i ran flowmasters for the longest time. they start to get annoying. i switched to a magnaflow and will probably use a magnaflow for the rest of my life. just a thought!

I read an article on single H-pipe and true duels on the same motor with tuning to them on a dyno. The single made more power than the other two from idle to near 4000. In my opinion a bigger single sounds a lot better to.
