Default Should we add an ebay style for sale ranking system to this site?

would it help?

It would be like this:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/traderratings.php?

and this

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...gs.php?u=16519

and it would have a number under your name on the forums with a ebay style deal, 1,2,3 or 0, or -1,-2,-3.

The only way to add a comment is if someone is posting something for sale, or in the wanted section.. Only one rating per item sold. It would mostly be on the honor system, but it hink it would help people who sell alot of things, and we can enforce some strict guidelines for leaving ratings.

it would be cool i think, but if the only way to post a comment is to post sometghing for sale seems like some of the people buying things would be left out.

i think it would come close to segrigating user, such as another sites "gold star" and would leave people that don't sell things with a zero rating

I thought VBulletin had a "Reputation" feature built into it? It was a little icon under your name on StuntLife to "Add to reputation".

But the example you posted would be cool as well.

Reputation is built into vbulletin, in fact, everyone here has a reputation number that is based off of time online, number of posts, you just cannot see it.

The problem is, there are ways to raise your rep, such as a +1 per 10 pm's.

Speaking of that...you still want to do the carpet in our other downstairs bedroom??
I don't sell anything, but ranking would be cool IMO.

As long as you can keep it fair for everyone go for it. Give it a trial basis and if its not working out then trash it.

If you're talkin about rating people as far selling items, it seems good, so u know u wont get screwed over.. as far general Forum goes, i say no.

Smells like to me. Some ppl are absolutly rediculous when it comes to used parts. I have more problems with ppl on ebay that pay $9.99 for something, then someone buying something for $100+. Cheap ppl are a pain in the @ss. I think it would become a big fest.
