Default 3-4" lift kits where to go?

have a friend looking for one for an 01 TJ. Just like all of us he doesn't have a lot of money. Where can he get his best "bang for the buck"? Tried ebay and JeeperzCreeperz but didn't have alot of luck.

The cheapest way would be a 2" BB and a 1" BL
About $600 at RBR

I got mine from Jeepers Creepers. Yeah, it was a little pricey, but I found out other places either used a shady hotmail account for business (seriously, your a business, you can do better) or didn't send several parts needed (like a bracket or something). I've got alot of other stuff from RBR as well. Both have been very reputable in my dealings with them. Koz gave me a pretty good price on some axle work he did, maybe check him out. http://www.kozoffroad.com/

when I needed the lift on the YJ, after getting rear ended and busting a leaf, koz had the best price on the kit itself, so I went ahead and had him to the labor/install as well.

(this is 3 years ago now)

he also found an assload of deferred maintenance, that I probably could have done with the help of a friend, but time was of the essence, and I had gotten a partial insurace settlement to get it all done.

I was a little unhappy with a couple of things, but overall reasonabley happy with their work.

one of these days, I'd like to give JCR the opportunity to go through my heap of shit (if I keep it)

My recommendation is to spend the money and get what you want the first time. Otherwise you will be spending more money long term.

call Dave at David Allen Racing in Mears Mi, I'm guessing here, but I bet you could get a 3.5" complete kit delivered for around the $600 that Dave mentioned... maybe cheaper.

And very easy to deal with. You sure JeeperzCreeperz didn't have what you needed? They always have BB in stock.
