well, I'm only going with 35's, 4 inch LA with the flat fenders and 4.88's.

While I'll definitely have a slight weight disadvantage, the new engine should take care of that. I really don't think it will be any worse on the road...or at least not much more.

Full hydro is obviously not an option for me right now...I also heard it isn't street legal??

I guess I'll find out next week...I'll be too happy to care. :tonka:

Steering and tracbar angles are going to be very flat and very close. So steering and/or bump steer will be better than stock. The suspension geometry won't be a problem either.

Besides the weight, I think it will drive very nice on the road.

Visual progress is low, but we finished a bunch of little crappy parts of the build that needed to get done.

A little love for Mozman:

Front end 90% done.

Upper Control Arm mount.

I just don't understand why you want this drastic of a build for a daily driver. Your handling will be poor and your gas mileage will blow. Your machine will be very capable offroad however. Also, do not go full hydro on a daily driver. Mine scares the hell out of me over 50mph. Know what you getting before you buy. Guiness may still be at JCR when you pick yours up, try out the hydro steering in the parking lot.

Daily driver or not that is one hell of build phase and I fully understand your desires to build it tough.

I plan to get some real ponies in it the near future also.

I disagree completely. This is the same lift that is on my LJ and is being put on by the same guys.

That being said, I would drive my jeep to California and back withtout a second thought if someone else was paying for the gas

MozMan, you will be amazed at how awesome your jeep drives all the time in ever situation you can throw at it including 80 (if the 4 banger will get to that speed) on the highway.

I get up to 80 regularly....as long as there is no wind....and grade increase of no more than 1/2%.....good thing it's flat in West Michigan. :tonka:
