Thanks...that was the toughest decision...only thing on the Jeep that I had to guess on as the wheels were too new to see anywhere.

Well hopefully they will be on your jeep by next summer so you wont have to be using them as a fry pan.

X2. There is no way that I would go bigger than 35s on a D60. That is why everyone on here that has 37s or biggers is running Rockwells.

It will be fine.

Yep. Just seen a few too many busted gears on the HP rear 60s with 40s and up...

Regardless, it's a great looking jeep

Cool jeep. What gear ratio are you running in the axles?

Okay...did alot of thinking about this, but I've confirmed with a lot of knowledgeable people that I actually guessed right and did this correctly.

Currently running a 4-banger with 4.10's.....buy some D60's so most people are like "go with 5.13's at a minimum or lower"....but I went with 4.88's (ARB front and rear as well).

The reasoning is that the 4-banger hopefully will be gone by the Spring (or at least Spring of 2009 at the latest) and will be replaced most likely by an LS1 with 350hp.....and it's my daily driver....and I'm only running 35's for now....SO, the 4-banger and 4.88's with 35's shouldn't run much worst than what I'm running now (even with the added weight), but the 4.88's will be alot more friendly on the highway with the bigger engine....and, again, I do drive this every day and to the trails...no trailer here.

Will also be switching to an automatic transmission and new transfer case to keep it low for the trails.

It will only look kewl this Winter, but after all the engine/transmission/TC work it may finally be the rig I always dreamed of.

I was ing at Nuzzy. I know that he will be fine with his setup. I was making fun of the fact that Nuzzy was leery about running big tires on a D60.

But no one caught the sarcasm.
