Default Shop Suggestions

Hey Guys,

This may or may not be the forum for this question, but I'm looking into starting my first CJ project. I'll do much of the assembly and less equipment-intensive work, but I'll ship or haul to a shop things I can't handle.

I'm in the Ann Arbor area, you guy know of shops that can do things like:

Sandblast/paint frames/bodies
Rebuild axles
Rebuild Engines

Also, general ballpark how much are these things going to cost me?

Thanks

Check us out as there is no part of a Jeep build that we can't help you with. Do a search for us or check out our numerous vehicle build threads in the "Rig Builds / Pictures". We are located 2 hrs north of you in Midland.

And don't forget to enter in the cage giveaway.

Howdy, I lived in A2 for some time. the best place for sand Blasting in town is Arnet's out on Jackson rd. they do anything they can fit in the barn.
the best engine rebuilder in town is on Airport Rd. Behind Tyner's. its Auto Parts Machine Shop they have done bunchs of work for me over the years.
As for Axles I would take them to Koz. they have the most experience in set ups that involve lockers and such. its money well spent.

I can do sandblasting for you. I'm close to A2, north on Pontiac Trail about 20 mins. Always willing to work something out.
