Those are easily fixable things. If going to the store is what you want, why not wait for a set of blingy rims and bigger tires to come up for sale? Then you can swap back and forth.

It seems like some weak reasons to swap.

And 39.5s on a D30/8.8

The tip top of his roof rack is 6'8" on the 39.5"s. I would want 37"s for sure....

who the hell knows.

because I never got it??? :dunno:

I guess I want something that will make MI wheeling fun. IMO the CJ is overbuilt for st helens, grayling, mio, some of the mounds, etc....

When I started the build I invisioned being able to go to paragon/tellico/badlands etc once a month or so. That hasn't been close to the truth....

Since your askin our opinons i'll share mine. It'd be no question for me, I'd keep the 8. It's a one of a kind and yours, the laredo can be made anyday of the week and in the end it's still a just a grand cherokee. It's way to tall for skinny axles and still WAY overbuilt for MI wheeling.

I think the K would get stuck at Silver Lake though...

Ultimate michigan rig would be an 80's AWD mini-van with a super soft suspension and 10" of travel. Wouldn't even feel the landscaping stones at drummond, or the jumps at silver lake

my vote would be bias.

But it comes down to what you want. and where you plan on using it. We go in all types of weather. And I like to be prepared if we end up spending a night in the woods. And G-man knows how to build them. Week parts etc. For a :gman: he makes me proud of his work.
