With the set up I had in my XJ I didn't have DW or BS what so ever. That is also with 9" of lift on 35's. It can be done.

Do what is best for you. Scramblers are not rare or precious... you could build another one one day if you really needed too.

I personally would rather have the scrambler because it's way easier to keep looking nice if you wheel it.

buy a cheap stock XJ or ZJ then if you want something streetable. I havent seen your scrambler but i wouldnt trade. If i built up a scrambler i would keep it for life, or until i wreck it or its stolen.

It might be a fair trade, but its not a GOOD trade, i think youll regret it.

my CJ8 can't handle the road. The tires always have flat spots, the beadlocks can't be balanced, the hyd assist is kind of odd or the pavement, etc....

I just talked to him again, he put the 39.5 Truxus on it

front is 7.5" spring, rear is 4.5 with 2" spacer

I would ask myself why he is willing to trade a running, drivable Jeep for a half assembled project.....
