Default Could you do it?

Lost my Cell Phone last night. got me thinking how nice it was not to have it.

Here is the question though if you had to could you go with out your Cell Phone, Computer, and TV for a month?? I could!

Do you think you would enjoy it or drive you crazy?

Not having these items you would not have the stress of others on you every day. seems we are living in a society that has to tell everyone whats going on in there live and complain about it. Not to many people are stoping to smell the roses anymore.

Just my thoughts.................

As long as I could be reached in an emergency(kids), it wouldn't bother me at all.

Without a cell phone and computer I would not have a job. And I could not live without a job for one month. So my answer is no.

Back on topic...

mobile phone: no problem.
TV: no problem.
Computer: Problem. No computer = no income. No home computer = no supplemental income.

I couldn't live without a cell-phone. I could, if I had too but I would miss alot. I move so often, and spend so little time at home that it is my only constant means of communicating with people.

Computers, TV, absolutely, if I didnt need it for work. Everything would take alot longer to do though.

I've never even owned a cell phone, and I'm doing my best not to get one 'till '09

No cable, and our living room only has a 150 gallon fish tank.

As for a computer, well I'm o dialup, so I don't have that much intraweb, anyway. I could easily do without all of them, but every time I do, CC and Craig get all worried. :tonka:

i don't use my cell phone much. We use it for long distance since there's no point paying for minutes we don't use only to rack up a phone bill on the land line.

However, I like having it, especially when I'm with the kids. It's peace of mind. A few times when I've ventured out and forgotten it I have been very cognizant of it--worried about something happening and me not having immediate acces to a phone. Funny how you get accustomed to something it causes additional worries when it isn't there.

TV? Not sure. I like watching the local news and enjoy some of the cable channels so I could do without it but would miss it.

Computer? It would probably allow me to read more. It's so easy to waste an hour or so on the internet, but mostly I play Free Cell or Spider Solitare. There isn't much on the internet that interests me anymore....
