Default What would you do in this situation....

The dept you work in is short handed and very busy. One of the people in your dept is on vacation. The company hires two new people that need training to help with being short handed. Wednesday you decide to go up north where you live and work from home even though there is a major storm advisory. Friday morning work is backed up, but you wake up to no power, so now you can no workie and Bio has to pick up your slack(even though he is not in that dept) due to lack of planning and mother nature pissing all over you.

What would you do?

I'd buy a generator from http://zillerelectric.com so you can function without power.

I forgot about that place :tonka:
Does Ziller do installs also? We've been going back and forth about getting one (we need one at our office)...

First of all :miff:

But we lost power last night too and having a generator is great. Only problem was it ran out of gas, so we went to get gas and a dvd from blockbuster and Mike's keyfob for his truck broke. By time we got home the power was back on. :chiefwoohaw:

Oh and I should also say that Bill is a really great team player to pull my QA team through this time of overwhelming adversity. Thanks

I heard that generators purchased from http://zillerelectric.com run on propane or natural gas so this is never a problem.

I am married to a half Jewish man. I am lucky I get electricity and heat during normal times, much less when the whole neighborhood is out. :stan3:

How about kick his ass, save up all the work the team wasn't able to finish just to give to him, kick his ass some more, make up some work to give him, kick his ass a wee bit more, log onto a board you haven't been on in over a year just to kick his ass and make him buy myself, Bio and Kerryann a propane or natural gas generator from http://zillerelectric.com so we can kick his ass with them.

And that's just Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, I'm sure I can think of some more ass kickings to give him.
