You're going to spend more money driving around looking for them than you would for shipping.

i want to replace my current rubber radius bushings on my ford (ttb) with slightly longer arms and a joint instead of bushings. The joints used on tractor hitches (the adjustable top links). Any farmers on here know how strong this joints are and will they hold? I can get the replacement joints ends for like $12 with my discount from NAPA. When i build them i am going to make the joints replaceable on the radius arms.

just buy the johnny joints. You can get em like i did with a 1.25 inch threaded shank and they take a 9/16 bolt. They are 40 bucks plus 2 for a jam nut and 14 for the tube adapter, I like the ones mad4wd sells. They fit into 1.5 ID tube.

They have, and they have discovered why you don't do that. Besides the strength issues, there are probably legal considerations of having farm implement parts on a highway-driven vehicle if you have a failure and someone decides to investigate the odd-looking non-stock parts.

If this was on a trail-only vehicle that was towed to the playground, I would have a different opinion.

YEP i will admit it does see a mile here and their of pavement from one trail to the other, or the gas station .5 mile from my house.

I can except constructive critism when theirs an explantion as to why. Not a "just don't do it" answer.

All i was looking for was a yes or no as to the strength of the part. (thanks for answering it, i'll look for somethin else or order something)

x 2 on the jonny joints. If you get them from JKS, you can get 'em for 39.50/each with jam nuts. Then, just get some tube inserts (or get tube tapped)
