Default 16' Hobie Cat

Buy this before the warm weather gets here. I'm selling my 16' Hobie. It has dual trapeezes, a brand new mesh tramp, a trailer, sails in good shape and comes with life jackets and anything else you need to hit the water. The trailer will need new tires and maybe new wiring. Sails and tramp have been kept inside our garage, not with the boat.

Boat is in Temperance, Mi and everything else is in Monroe, Mi. I'm looking for $1000. I'll put new tires on it and anything else it needs to see the road for the cost of parts.

Can you tell me a little bit more about your hobie cat, like what year is it and what kind of sailing it was used for?

I think the boat is an '82. It might be an '81. Not like much has changed on these since they started being built though.

A good friend of our family bought the boat when it was new. He raced it maybe once, so it has all the options but not all the abuse. I only used it for recreational sailing. There's nothing wrong with it if you want to race though.

What else do you need to know?

What day willl you be here? I'll be out of town from March 3-8 and again the day of the 10th. If you're around Friday evening or Sunday we can look at it.
