Default WTB: Jeep Scrambler

Pops is looking for a new project. Looking for a scrambler in decent shape with a 6 cyl engine in the $4,000 price area. Any leads are well appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Yes, I have searched about every forum I can possibly find. I was asking b/c not everyone in the world posts there stuff on the internet, and someone might have a neighbor, friend, etc who they knew that was selling one.

Thanks but, looking for a complete and stock scrambler. (I know it is like a mission from God). Small lift and larger tires would be ok. He is looking for something to futz around with on the weekends and be a hardware store runner. Not looking for any huge wheeling machine or anything like that.

thanks again for the replies!

I saw a couple in the trucktrader . They were more money than 4000. I think it was like 5600 and a lifted one for more. I been looking for one with most of the parts on it too.

Yep there is the one in farmington hills and one in Illinois that are in the 8k range. I keep telling him to spend a bit more to get a nice one, but he doesn't listen :miff:

Finding a solid, original Scrambler for $4K may be tough. However, you should put a post on cj-8.com. You'll probably have a lot more options if you're (or your dad) is willing to travel 6-10 hrs. for one.

Good luck,
Craig
