Is it a 10.5 inch ring gear or 9.5 inch?

The only differences inside the housing on a 10.5 is 88 and down, 89 and up. 88 and down uses a smaller inner bearing on the pinion, where the 89 and up uses a larger bearing. So if you have it apart, or are going to take it apart, check the part number on the bearing, I cant remember it off the top of my head, but you can call a parts store and cross reference it.

Edit: Didnt see the numbers you posted, I am sure somebody can help you with those.

GM 3977334 = the part #
10 41 = the number of teeth on the pinion and ring gear
7 76 = it was built in July 1976
