I should be there. My spring break starts the 6th and i start back up the 16th. Probley go up on the 6th or 7th and stay a few days. Dont know yet what days but i will be there some time between the 6th and 15th. Have to sit down and figure it out.
And yes nomader what kind of tire, airing down makes a huge difference.

ok, so if I run my street tiers who is going to drag my truck back to the hardened surface when I can't move anymore? :tonka: I still have the tiers on that were on when I bought the truck.

Ill give ya a at the end of the day for lending a hand.

Not much money working over the winter, but then better than working else where and I need to pay the truck off and fix it yet, big bastard is being nothing but a headache, needs a radiator o2 sensor and I'm guessing with all the oil that was being pumped into the cylinders from the warped heads didn't do it any favors I'm figuring why the guy got rid of it after having it for nearly 12 years.

hmm... also looks like I might be in Kentucky / Tennessee that weekend

I got no problem towing you around. Looks like ill be there the 6th though the 9th. Friday to monday. First time in three years that i wont be there for opening day. I'll be a week late. Looks like me and a few friends from school going. Ill have my truck and they will be on 4wheelers. See if they can keep up on the 4wheelers. Probley camp cant afford a hotel. See what happens. First time out with the new tires, gears and welded front. Bringing lots of tools and maybe even the air compresor and air tools. Thats if we camp.

Found out the hard way that i cant air the ssr's down as much as the ground hawgs. Last year i did donuts on about 4 to 5 psi with the ground hawgs (skinny rims on wide tires). Aired the ssr's down to about 9 or 10 at mounds and popped it off the rim (right rim for the right tire). See what i can now run out there safly. Going to carry some starting fluild and a liter just in case.

Dude i ran the most pussy street tires ever out there and did fine ! just air down to 10 psi.. less aggressive tread CAN work to your advantage helps keep you afloat on the sand rather than digging down..

I think you mean 8' or 10' from the ground cause there would be no point of having one if it were 8" from the ground. also May 5th test and tune at West Michigan Sand dragway a mile from the dunes on deer rd. $20 for as many passes as you can get in through out the day i believe it begins at 12am and goes til dark maybe later depending on if they turn the track lights on. for more info go to www.sanddragways.com

depends on what you have, you have to remember I'm totally stock, both axils open and 225x70R16 tiers built for the street :D Ill probably stick to the dunes if I make it.
