I used valvoline. It was like $16/quart synthetic.

My old man found having synthetic in both diffs will increase mileage. About 2mpg in his 07 half ton

i use cheap valvoline stuff because if you off road alot you should replace it a lot. and synthetic is too much $$$$

That stuff gets expensive after a while. I use the regular stuff and change it every third run (around 1,500 miles). Mine is not a DD though.
