I don't need to question the picture above, as I don't seen anything wrong with it. I'm not a cyclist, but think a cycle only trail should stay that way...not bee widen so your full size ATV can fit down it.

are you kidding me?

Have you ever heard of the food chain? You don't see little mice running around where foxes and coyotes play.
I think the DNR should perform instant death matches. If they find two "species" They should make them both go 60mph into each other. The winner can go back to what he was doing.

If nobody here is evidently man or woman enough to even so much as 'challenge' you guys on this...then I suppose that we've just been given a pretty good insight as to how many folks will send money in to just about anybody in a Michigan off-road non-profit....regardless of their character.("just make sure you send me that pretty little 'sticker'...O.K.?).
You will believe what you want to believe. I send money to people will to work to keep trails open for me; from what I ken, you rant on internet forums about what is wrong.

Of course, since every organization is against you (because they are self-centered, evil people with elitist agendas), the only thing you have left is your virtual soapbox on the internet. This position leaves you open to free complain about the state of public land affairs, yet unable to act, because everybody is too ignorant to see the "truth".

If you are free to label me an elitist, here is a label for you:

Coward.

You are too afraid to act for what you think is right. Instead, you claim you have tried in the past and nobody cares to listen. This allows you to follow a rather apathetic path of action (or inaction as it is).

You are the very kind of person that breaks down relationships with the DNR that others have worked so hard to build. You are a threat to continued ORV use in this state and should be treated as such.

In closing, since we seem to get so juvenile in these exchanges:

I'm not certain, but I think your behemoth is prohibited here too.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahA AAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Loser.

Are you talking about kids or adolescents? I was 10 when I took my first orv course, so I think I was between a kid and an adolescent.

who were the instructors at the time administering the classes? Maybe one of them lived in our neighborhood.

Excuse me...are you questioning MY character. I am not a pompous, overblown, know it all. I certainly have never offended you have I? And yet you question my character over the fact that I sent money in to a Michigan off-road-non-profit-online-entertainment-educational association. My money to spend as I see fit. You sound like someone who hasn't been laid in awhile.

BTW.....I never got my "pretty little sticker"....got an extra? I don't think you want yours.

Yeah, there's horseback riding trails and mountain bike trails in the Pontiac recreation area. Wonder when they're gonna put in the full size orv trails?

Everybody should have a trail I say.

Funny you should bring up Pontiac Lake, as the "equestrians" tried to get the trail system completely closed off to mountainbikes.
It took the Michigan Mountain Biking Association many years of hard work to convince the DNR to allow multi-use.

In the end, both user groups have separate trails out there.

Didn't the same thing happen out at Maybury?

Frustrates me every time I drive by there. (daily) There are some awesome hills back in those woods.

Maybury is a whole other mess. It was originally closed from Dec to May to keep bikes and CC skiiers separated. Funny thing is, there are no more CC rentals out there and the CC skiiers don't enjoy the MTB trail.

Currently, the park manager claims it is closed in the winter to protect the soil. Two soil studies later and still no winter riding at Maybury.

H1 vs OMB in his Mule, name the date time and place But make sure it's private property, the Mule isn't legally allowed anywhere else
