Default Its like my Jeep when down to Detroit

Well I went to the mud bog on Saturday, and when i got stuck i was showing Greasemonkey my GPS/dvd player. Well when i went to eject the cd that was in it, just just kept on getting a malfunction error message on the screen. Well i took it to bestbuy today to have it checked out, and they had to remove the whole unit. Now im without music for probably the next 2 weeks and i have this large opening in the middle of my dash. Ahwell it could be worse, thank god that i got the 4 year service plan, and i dont have to pay for anything, and if they cannot repair it or it costs to much, ill get the newest GPS unit, the AVIC-N2 which is what im hoping for.

You might want to ask Stan that question. From what I've heard his definition wouldn't be map with buttons...but a blank screen with buttons.

i can read a map, im just lazy and would rather just type in a address, hit a few buttons and follow the on screen directions.

This is why I like "ride along wheeling". I tend to make other people break their **** instead of me breaking mine.

Just messin' with ya Skooter. That does suck. My buddy just got all of his audo **** stolen out of his Jeep so his center dash is flapping around because the clips got broken and he's going to be without music for awhile too.

If your Jeep was bigger you wouldnt need a GPS... Us with the bigger vehicles just go wherever we want... dont need GPS to maneuver around things... we just go over and through them.

I like Bill's thinking.

When we ran out of trail on Drummond we made our own. Sorry about the tunes Skooter.

i'd be scared to have something like that in my rig. I dunno if i'm even going to have a radio...if i do i guess i'll just throw in my old pioneer cd player, see how long it lasts.

that makes me wonder, do any of you guys have one of those marine covers for your radios? might make em last a little bit longer with mud getting sprayed on them, or water.

my jeep radios are donated to me i break them every year and then look for another free one. i would like to try the marine cover. but when i power wash my interior the water seem to get behind the dash and make the radio do funny things. haha

You have a stick on label on yer CD? One of mine did and jammed mine up last month. Got it out but it wasn't fun and being a six disc I was worried.

And how is it a bad thing? People are responding to them aren't they?

Look at Grandman and Iceman. Their old but their still some of the most entertaining people on here..

Oh well...
