Default removalbe flywheel counter-weights???

Read on another forum that some of the Ford 302/T5 combo's had removable counterweights? I had never heard of that before, anyone know more information or have I been reading lies?

Google tells me that there are alot of aftermarket harmonic balancers with removeable counterweights, but I can't find anything on flywheels.

Probably referred to the counter weights on the pressure plate (to adjust the clamping force).

I don't think so, but maybe he was. The topic was about finding a neutral balanced 157 tooth flywheel, and somebody chimed in about there were years that Ford made flywheels with removeable 28/50 oz weights (I'm guessing which then made them neutral balanced when removed). Which seems a little far fetched to me, but I can't find anything to prove him wrong either. Was curious as to what others had heard.
