Default Radeon Graphics Cards

I just got a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 and it has its own cooling fan... is this fan supposed to run constant or does this card have some sort of heat sensor to turn it on?

I cannot find aything on it anywhere...

I have that card in my Dell XPS...it constantly runs.

Thats funny.
Yes it runs all the time.

that was a top gameing card last year.

Now it's entry level for the new games.

I have the 9800 XT 256 meg Video card, and i will have to replace it soon to keep up with the latest games that i enjoy playing.

I have an original Radeon 64MB VIVO card with a cooling fan. Therefore my e-schwanz must be bigger than yours..

I still have a 3DFX Voodoo Rush 8MB PCI card in the box of parts that I used to run on my MMX Pentium 200 overclocked to 225MHz, bi-otch!

well my fan isnt running lol... anyone know where to get replacement fans... it has an ati part number but I cannot find where to order from lol

This is the problem with video cards. The fans suck. I do not know of single video card that doesn't have its fan running constantly out of the box. This is why I throw the fan out and just put my waterblock on the GPU.
