Was only hopping cuz of how i started out. Actully doesnt do it with the 37s if i just hit it, and they were real sticky cuz i did a burnout b4 the video started.

But yea the wheel hop in the video cracked my frame more, which is way you can see the bed start flexxing more after a few seconds. (i cut rust out and havnt fully patched it yet so now its worse)

Alright broke down and final bought some dana 60s.

For right now i think im just going to get stronger diff covers, get srw hubs, weld the spiders, disk brakes for the back, new brakes for the front, new steering set up, and probley shave as much as i can off the bottoms. Then just get new spring perchs for the rear and a full width kit for the front. Run them like that till i can get gears and lockers. See how that go's. Said the same thing when i built my motor.

Probly way to much. For right now im going to do the below
Rear
disk conversion bout $460
Spring Perches bout $30
Welded spiders Free
Front
New spring mounts for full width. Getting the sky kit $240
srw hubs
New rotors and calipers
Steering ???
Welded spiders Free

Then i need new brake lines and not sure yet what im doing for drivshafts. O and i want to shave them as much as i can so i dont lose to much clearance over my toyota ones

Later on im going to go though and do 35spline stubs, lockers, gears etc etc

Default Real build updates

Figured with every one updating there build threads it was time for me.
My toyota axles should be gone soon, already sold just need to take them out. Trading my 37s for a set of 44tsl's in a week. Got a set of 5 h1 rims( if any one wants to buy the goodyear 36s that come on them ill sell them, lots of tread left). Think that brings most stuff up to date.

O and i broke my output shaft in half so i also have to fix that now when i do every thing.

Ive been playing around on paint with some ideas and heres what i have so far. Really want to 4link the front but not sure yet with $. Gonna use 63chevys in the back for now

Gonna shorten the wheel base to a standard cab lengh with the extra body. Taking the difference out of the front of the bed. Then im making the wheel well opening bigger to clear the tires so i can keep it low. Probly bob the end also.

Next is playing around with what i want to do for a exo cage. Feel free to play around with the above pic's to throw ideas out there

Got my new tires (44x18.5r16.5 tsls) and mounted one up to see what it would look like on my H1's since the rim is a little skinny for a 18.5 wide tire. Next is cleaning up the rims and painting them, and groving the tires

Put one next to my brothers 35's just for kicks

I have absolutely nothing against Chevys but believe me(I have had more of them than any other vehicle), a 22RE will about take all kinds of abuse. I have witnessed it too many times.

That thing is going to be huge when its done. The next step will be turning it into a "Sunday-at-the-Mounds" BDMT with some tractor tires.

Yea the 22re's will take a ton of abuse, and keep going

I plan on keeping it low and wide, not building no mud truck here, setting it up more for trails this time

the body sure seems clean and straight like it is, being low on 44's you may be removing alot tin if you end up with much flex.

nice build, its gonna be a beast -

you shouldn't bother with you bobbed bed idea, just build a flat bed and make it real sweet.
