Looking for a wine rack...

This is the pathetic storage solution I have for my aging Michigan wine collection, and there's more still on a similar shelf over at the place I was staying... I'm looking for a good sized wine rack/wine cooler, to store it in... Looks aren't overly important; it's in the basement, but something nice would be preferable...

Here's hoping someone's trying to get rid of that damn wine rack they never use... I'm in Madison Heights, love to travel...

I have a countertop one that I don't use since I have another that is more of a piece of furniture. Metal, black finish. Probably holds 12 bottles.

semi short story:

so when i went to pick up one of the many axles that i have had in the garage, i ended up out in st. clair or there abouts in this guys barn picking it up, we walk into his barn (turns out it used to be a bar) and i see this engine block, stood up on end, that had ten bottlees of wine in it, struck me as funny so i asked about it..i shoulda thought of it but it didnt occur to me, this cowboy had a viper block sitting on end in his garage as a wine rack WTH? anyway i liked the idea and one of these days when i have a small wine collection i to intend to go pick me up a engine block or two probably V's from the jyard and turn em on end and walla semi cool looking wine racks...

its an idea

Hmmm...

PP, I may well be interested, but I'm hopefully looking for something larger, like in the 30 ish bottle range, not that I'm ruling out anything at this point, but my collection has about 8 more bottles not pictured that I need to pick up today.

Grifter... That's a cool idea, would not have thought of that. That's right up there with this one guy who has a camshaft holding up his mailbox in Warren, thinking outside the box, love it love it...

I may have two available, both in the 30-ish bottle range. They were left in my house by a relative. If he doesn't want them I will let you know in a day or two. One is all unfinished wood and the other is finished wood posts with black metal shelves.

I will be in Center Line and Bloomfield Hills Saturday around noon. I can bring both racks and I don't mind showing them, its better than a pic.

I am thinking about 5-15 bucks each?

Pics of all aforementioned wine racks would help :)

I'm off work Friday, and plan to get some doings done then, picking up wine rack(s) hopefully included with said doings.

Much better! And not a moment too soon, when I went to move my wines, I found a bottle of merlot, and a bottle of riesling had been knocked on the floor, unbroken, thankfully... So glad to get them off that shelf...

Thanks again
