I spent Saturday working and got the rear "done". I cut & trimmed the rear LCA brackets to fit and then welded them and the coilover brackets on. My welds came out pretty good, just need to clean off the spatter and grind down a couple boogers im not happy with.

Tomorrow im gonna clean up the front 60 and get it ready for its parts. My last order from Ballistic is showing up on Wednesday along with my gears and locker. I got all my kingpin rebuild parts so the next step is try and get the old kingpins out, hopefully I dont fukc anything up.

Im gonna try using alot of heat + 8 foot of breaker bar and hope that gets the job done.

Thursday I wanna get the front truss, knuckle gussets/coilover mount and brackets welded on.

torch, allen wrench, pipe, piece of cake. Mine from 79 came right out, no issues. Tried the impact thing, no deal, pipe and allen wrench and they came right out.

Got damn right it did It took me about 5 minutes total to remove both kingpins last night with help from my buddys. No heat needed. I also removed and installed new lower kingpin parts and gutted the diff. I just gotta get some new lower kingpin bolts and powerwash the diff and its good to go.

Got all my parts yesterday, finally!!! New gears, install kit, ARB locker, Ballistic truss, link brackets and cover.

I gotta go power wash the 60 and finish cleaning it up and then I can start welding on the truss tonight. Right now Im hunting down new lower kingpin bolts, my old ones were trashed. I called Fastenal but dont need 25 bolts and Jeff's Bronco graveyard is looking. If I can get the bolts I can start reassembling the front axle, Im also gonna repaint the steering parts white

Pretty sure Iíve got a set of new kingpin cap bolts leftover, Iíll check when I get home. Text me Scottís address when you get over there and Iíll bring them byÖ.Iíve only been there once, it was light out, I was following someone, and alcohol may have been a factor so finding it by memory alone may be an issue.

Got work done, truss is welded on and I then half ass installed the knuckles, high steer arms(backwards) and a few other brackets to see how they would fit, more work needs to be done.
