I would consider myself an evangelical christian, and while I don't always agree with the stance that some ultra conservative christians take, they have their reasons.

However, I am all for every woman being vaccinated with this shot! I think it is an easy way to prevent a lifelong disease that may or may not be transmitted sexually. And if for some reason, a girl makes a mistake and gets exposed to it, it would spare her a lifetime of pain.

And I also agree with muddy paws. I think its funny that you make such a big deal about an issue so small as this, when in reality, you never talk about major issues like abortion, taxation, etc.

However, you have done more than your share of complaining about Christians. Not that I care, you're just some internet dude that I'll probably never meet. Just an observation.

I'm not making a huge deal about the HPV thing, i just think that the evangelical's stance on it is stupid.

I have a different view of abortion that you, i don't see the fetus as a person therefore I do not view it as murder and I also support a woman's right to privacy about her body.

funny, every political topic turns into an abortion debate to muddypaws...

I think the only problem with Evangelicals is that they are so organized. I mean, they're super organized. They motivate their congregations to register to vote and vote. I saw that documentary. While they don't tell their members how to vote, they probably preach (haha, pun) enough to where they will get their point across.

Does a person working in a pharmacy who doesn't believe in abortion or premarital sex have the right to refuse to fill birth control? No. Because our rights are only guaranteed to us until we infringe on others' rights.

The only problem I have is apparent every summer day on my way to work:
Middle-aged women outside Planned Parenthood with giant posters of dead fetuses hawking the people driving in. It's all choice people. I choose not to impose my values on others, so why do they feel it is necessary to impose them on me? To be saved by their God with His values? Sorry Charlie. And those pictures are disgusting. I almost want to just go have unabashed, unprotected sex with random coeds just to spite them.
