HEY GUYS,
NEW HERE, BUT I HAVE A 87-88 (I FORGET AT THE MOMENT) MJ WITH
A FORD DANA44 AND A 9" (4:10 GEARING) UNDER IT.
15X14 WHITE WAGON WHEELS WITH 35" BOGGERS ON THEM (75% TREAD)
THE REST IS STOCK
4.0
AUTOMATIC
ITS NOT A SHOW TRUCK THOUGH. IT MAY WORK TO DRIVE ON THE ROAD BUT, I'D USE IT FOR THE TRAILS, ECT.

That bolted on tortion bar looks pretty scary. But there are still coil spings. What kind of front suspension would you call that?

THE FRONT SUSPENSION IS RIGHT OUTTA FORD TRUCK. AND THE CROSSMEMBER THAT THE ARMS BOLT TO ARE BOLTED AND WELDED TO THE FRAME.

WHATS SCARY ABOUT THAT ?

Those are radius arms not tortion bars.

that set up is very very common in alot of rigs that are swaped to a solid axle because 1) parts are very easy to come by and 2) it's fairly cheap as well...

it's basically a stock pre 79 Ford pickup front suspension.
